Police Declare Mark Agingre Wanted for Series of Gruesome Murders in Upper East Region

The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for 36-year-old Mark Agingre, a native of Binduri in the Upper East Region, wanted in connection with a string of brutal killings that have shocked residents of the Binduri District and nearby communities.

According to police sources, Agingre is believed to have committed multiple murders, including the killing of a man, his wife, and their three children on 7th November 2025. The attack, which left another child critically injured, occurred in Binduri. The surviving victim is currently receiving treatment at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.

Investigations further link the suspect to the murder of an elderly man and his two children on 27th October 2025, also in Binduri. Police believe these incidents may be part of a wider pattern of targeted killings in the area.

To support the ongoing investigation, the Ghana Police Service has announced a ₵1,000,000.00 reward for anyone who provides credible information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The public is urged to report any information about Mark Agingre’s whereabouts to the nearest police station or contact the police on 191 or 18555 immediately.

Police have assured residents that every available resource is being deployed to apprehend the suspect and restore calm in the affected communities.
